Christina Lai has been Vice President of Corporate Legal Affairs at Applied Materials since 2014. She leads the team responsible for corporate governance and securities matters and supports the company’s corporate finance transactions, executive compensation and equity and benefit programs.
Christina joined Applied from Yahoo, where she held a variety of corporate governance and securities roles in her eleven years with the company, most recently serving as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel of Corporate Governance and Assistant Secretary. Prior to starting her in-house career, she was an associate at Latham and Watkins.
Christina received her bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Stanford University and her J.D. from UCLA School of Law. She is a member of the Governance Committee of the Board of Directors of El Camino Hospital.
