2016 Unconscious Bias Training

The unconscious bias learning program will utilize both concept exploration and experiential engagement, to safely “unpack” implicit bias, increase awareness and understanding of its impact on organizational culture and identify ways to interrupt bias to promote greater engagement with diversity and inclusion.

By the end of this program, participants will:

  • Develop a deeper understanding of the filters through which we view the world and its impact on interpersonal behavior.
  • Understand key learnings about the mind and the research that underlies unconscious patterns of behavior.
  • Create a set of actions for recognizing and mitigating bias to promote greater engagement with diversity and create a more inclusive environment.
