Kristine Martin has been with Sodexo’s Supply Management Department since 2000. Kristine has been in her current role as Supplier Diversity Manager since June 2012. Some of her responsibilities include: providing our Direct 2nd Tier reports to over 400 Clients, supporting our Corporate Department’s supplier diversity goals and leading our Supplier Diversity Advisory Board. Kristine is the direct point of contact for our Supply Managers, assisting them in meeting their diversity goals including helping their manufacturers implement supplier diversity programs and reporting their supplier diversity spend to Sodexo (2nd tier spend). Other responsibilities include managing our Supplier Registration portal for current and potential diverse vendors, and piloting a new Supplier Diversity Mentoring Circle progam.
Kristine is also active externally as Sodexo’s representative for different procurement councils. Kristine is currently serving as a member of the Procurement Council for NGLCC ( National Gay Lesbian Chamber of Commerce), member of the Procurement Council for USHCC (United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce), the Certification Committee for WPEO (Women’s President’s Educational Council), as well as industry groups such as the NMSDC Food and Beverage Industry Group. Kristine is also involved internally supporting many of our EBRG’s including currently serving as the National Co-chair of Communication for SOL (Sodexo Organization for Latino’s) Kristine is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in business administration with University of Maryland UC. She lives in Gaithersburg, MD with her husband and daughter.
