Lise Edwards

Currently leading the Diversity and Inclusion initiative and Compliance programs at Salesforce.com from soup to nuts.

As former Managing Director for Oracle Women’s Leadership (OWL), Lise led OWL’s growth from 13 communities to over 50 local communities and 90+ community leaders worldwide. OWL now touches thousands of employees around the world with a variety of opportunities to connect, learn, lead and give back. Before leading the OWL initiative, Lise guided the development of Oracle’s Diversity and Inclusion strategy and programs. She excels at connecting with and inspiring both large groups and individual contributors to move beyond reflection to learning and ultimately to action.

Lise is also co-founder, GenderAllies, GenderAllies a collaboration of inclusion professionals who stand for women and men in full partnership in organizations and in our communities.
In September, 2013, Edwards represented the United States Department of State, on behalf of our U.S. Embassy Wellington, New Zealand where she participated in a State Department Speaker Program on Women’s Suffrage Anniversary presenting research and keynotes, meeting with executive leadership from both public and private sectors discussing next steps for the support and advancement of women in the workplace.

Lise has held significant roles in Human Resources and Diversity/Inclusion with Fortune 500 technology and biotech companies (Oracle, Genentech, EMC Corp, Synopsys, Lucent and LSI Logic) designing and delivering specialized programs and services.

Lise has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors including the 2007 YWCA TWIN Award for Leadership in Diversity & Inclusion and was named one of Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 100 Women of Influence for 2013.

Born in Berkeley, CA and a fifth generation Californian, Lise grew up in Lafayette, CA and attended St Mary’s College and Juilliard, School of Dance. Lise is happily married and has two daughters, emerging leaders, Alexandra and Anastasia.
