Adriana is the latest addition to MedImpact’s Senior Leadership Team, serving as our Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness & Facilities. She has over 20 years of experience in the Human Resources field with an outstanding track record, balancing business needs with people imperatives.
Prior to joining the MedImpact Senior Leadership Team, Adriana was the VP of Human Resources at Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and was part of the Bristol Myers Squibb Senior Leadership Team leading the acquisition and integration efforts. Adriana joined Amylin in 2006 as the HR Director in support of the Commercial organization and has performed several roles as a Sr. Director, and most recently led Amylin’s companywide Human Resources function. Prior to Amylin, she served as HR Director at CooperVision, Inc. where she was responsible for Global Human Resources management in support of their Global Manufacturing & Distribution Operations and Quality among other responsibilities. At CooperVision, Adriana was instrumental in supporting the integration of the newly acquired Ocular Sciences organization maintaining key personnel and leading numerous projects to effectively reorganize multiple sites around the world. From over 14 years, she served in various HR capacities including, HR Director for Corporate Employee Shared Services Platform responsible for West Coast operations; HR Consultant supporting the divestiture of various Biotech companies within Motorola while providing HR services to the organizations; HR Director and Manager roles supporting Cellular Infrastructure, Mobile Devices and Paging Business both in Sales and Manufacturing throughout Latin America, Caribbean and South Florida.
Adriana was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and received her B.A. with a concentration in International Business with a minor in Italian. Adriana later completed her MBA out of Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida at the Wayne Huizenga Business School.
