California Diversity Council Hosts 7th Annual Orange County Women in Leadership Symposium

On March 17, 2016, the California Diversity Council hosted their 7th Annual Women in Leadership Symposium at Kia Motors America in Irvine, CA. Attendees of the symposium gained knowledge and advice from corporate leaders who shared insight from their personal success and leadership experience as professionals.

"Our hope is that this symposium gives women a platform to both gain knowledge and share their experiences," said Dennis Kennedy, Founder and Chairman of the National Diversity Council. "Bringing women together to educate and encourage one another is a great place to begin the path to success."

The half-day event featured multiple business leaders from various organizations discussing topics such as "Opening Doors for Women," "Positioning Yourself for the Next Big Opportunity," and "The Courage to Lead: Inner Dimensions of Leadership." The symposium began with a welcome from Angeles Valenciano, Chief Executive Officer at the National Diversity Council. Following a series of speeches presented by seven featured panelists, audience members were given the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts on the discussion topics presented.

The California Diversity Council would like to thank all the sponsors, speakers and attendees for helping to make this event a success.
