California Diversity Council to Host 2nd Annual San Diego Veterans Summit

The California Diversity Council is hosting the 2015 San Diego Veterans Summit in an effort to educate employers on hiring best practices and provide military veterans with professional development opportunities. The event will be held on May 28th, 2015 at Coleman University, 8888 Balboa Avenue, San Diego, CA, 92123.

"This year's veteran summit provides an opportunity for open dialogue between professional leaders and former veterans as they look to educate, encourage and inspire. This event is one way to bridge the gap between potential employees and employers so we can get veterans acclimated to the workplace," said Dennis Kennedy, Founder and CEO of the National Diversity Council.

This half-day Summit will afford an opportunity for veterans, company and organization representatives to come together in an educational forum to hear from fellow veterans and professional leaders as well as learn some of the most-effective best practices regarding veteran hiring, transitioning into a civilian workplace, along with professional development opportunities. The Summit Agenda will include two (2) panel discussions: one designed for veterans and one designed for employers.

Registration, breakfast, and networking for the San Diego Veterans Summit will begin at 8:30 a.m. Individual ticket cost is $79.00. For more information about the summit and to register, please visit our website.
