The Orange County Multicultural Roundtable Promotes Leadership and Development For Business Professionals

On October 23, 2015, the California Diversity Council in partnership with Chapman University hosted the 3rd Annual Orange County Multicultural Roundtable at Chapman University in Orange County, CA. The half-day event provided a platform for dialogue on leadership skills and professional development.

"The Orange County Multicultural Roundtable offered an opportunity to observe, learn, network and hear different perspectives from a diverse mix of corporate executives who have made the climb up the corporate ladder," said Dennis Kennedy, Founder and CEO of the National Diversity Council.

The roundtable began with registration, breakfast, and a networking session, followed by the welcome and introduction to speakers delivered by Dr. Daniele Struppa, Ph. D, Chancellor of Chapman University. After the welcome, concurrent sessions on leadership and professional development were held. Topics presented were "Steps to Strategic Career Pathing," "Leadership 101," "Women of Color in Education," and "Influencing Others Above, Below and Sideways: Leading in Every Connection." Question & answer sessions were also held at the event, promoting participation amongst the attendees.
